Bringing comparability to the flavor industry to ease collaboration, trade and the design of great tasting food.

Problem

The prior version did not fulfill the client's requirements. There were numerous concerns connected to both the UI and manufacturing. Lack of userflows, guidance, and direction. The database was also fairly disorganized.

Opportunities

We assisted the client in reorganizing the design file and suggested practical alternatives or suggestions to optimize production. Our developers assisted in the refracture, repair, and maintenance of certain faulty logical code.

DESIGN PROCESS

  1. Empathize & analysis

  • Get requirement from clients, understand what they need

  • Leverage user behaviour data from client

  • Deep dive on the old version to understand the flow

  1. Define

  • List out problems about UX flow, UI, organization,…

  • Check technical issues. Our developers access to the old code version to determine problems about logic, mapping, etc.

  • Documentation the all issues in the files for tracking

  1. Ideate

  • New UI (design system, UI kít, template and style guide,…)

  • Modify some bad userflows

  • Propose new solutions and some suggestions to optimize product

  1. UI Design

  • Create wireframe for new solutions, features,…

  • Re-design design system, add more style guide,…

  • Maintain consistency throughout the duration of project

  1. Development

  • Propose the final UI to dev team

  • Delegate tasks and allocate resources for each features

  • Qualify output to ensure that production matches the UI design and the client's needs.

  1. Maintenance

  • Weekly report

  • Present/prevent the ouput

  • Fixing based on the feedback

  • Q/A

MY ROLE

In this project, I assumed the roles of both Designer and Product Owner due to the absence of a business analyst in our team. Beyond designing visuals and establishing the design system, I spearheaded weekly client meetings. Responsibilities included:


  • Offering valuable suggestions to the client

  • Analyzing and translating client requirements from documentation to design files

  • Assigning tasks to individual development team members via Trello

  • Monitoring progress to ensure alignment with both my designs and client needs.
